Ann and Derek BARRY

It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden deaths of

Ann Barry (nee Ryan) of 16 St. Patrick's Close, Kilkenny, who passed away on 5th June 2025 and her beloved son Derek (Dixie) Barry of 40 Newpark Close and late of St. Patrick's Close, Kilkenny who passed away on 3rd June 2025.

Sadly missed by Ann's partner Jo and Derek's partner Pauleen, Derek's daughter Chloe, son and brother Adrian, daughter and sister Amy, daughter-in-law and sister-in-law Bernadette, son-in-law and brother-in-law David, Ann's grandchildren and Derek's nephew and nieces Jack, Jorja, Sarina, Aoibheann and Arya, Pauleen's children and grandchildren and all of Ann and Derek's extended family and friends.

May their gentle souls Rest in Peace.

Reposing in Johnston's Funeral Home, John's Green, Kilkenny (R95XE00) on Sunday (8th June) from 5pm to 7pm with Rosary and Vigil Prayers at 6pm. Requiem Mass on Monday at 11am in St. Patrick's Church, Kilkenny.

Ann and Derek will then be laid to rest together in St. Kieran's Cemetery.

Houses private please.
