Eddie Walsh

Walsh, Eddie (Knocklyon Green, Dublin 16 and formerly of Enniscorthy, Co. Wexford) 5th June 2025. Peacefully at home with his dear wife May at his side. Beloved father to Aideen, Siobhán, the late Eamonn, and the late Deirdre. Father-in-law to Diarmuid and David, and adored grandfather to Andrew, Joseph, Nicola, Dearbhla and Dan. Cherished brother of Seán (recently deceased), Nick, Richard, and the late Mary, and sadly missed by his sister-in-law Margaret, nieces, nephews, and extended family. A faithful friend to many, including his GAA teammates, fellow golfers, neighbours, and his many friends from UCD Department of Agriculture. A wonderful man who will be greatly missed.

Reposing at the family home in Knocklyon on Monday afternoon (9th June) from 4pm to 7pm.

Removal on Tuesday morning (10th June) to the Church of St. Colmcille’s, Knocklyon arriving for Funeral Mass at 11:30am followed by burial in Mount Venus Cemetery.

Donations, if desired, in Eddie’s memory to Our Lady’s Hospice and Care Service, Harold’s Cross to whom Eddie’s family are eternally grateful.
