The death has occurred of John Patrick (J.P.) Cooney, Cornasaus, Kingscourt, Co. Cavan, peacefully at Woodlands Nursing Home, Navan, 29th May 2025.
Predeceased by his parents, Frank and Margaret and his brothers. Deeply regretted by his brothers Benny, Gerry, and Noel, his sisters Teresa and May and his nephew Alan. Sadly missed by his extended family, nieces, nephews, neighbours, relatives, and friends.

Reposing at Kieran Bros. Funeral Home (A82 R3W2) on Saturday, 31st May from 4pm to 7pm. Funeral Mass in the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Kingscourt, on Sunday, 1st June at 12pm, with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
