John (Seanie) Massey

and formerly of St. Francis Terrace.

Seanie passed away on 26th May 2025, peacefully at home surrounded by his family. Predeceased by his parents Liz and Jim, brothers Owen and infant Francis and brother-in-law Seamus Fahy. Beloved husband of Ann and much loved father and best friend of John Edward. Seanie will be dearly missed by his wife and son, brothers Gerry and David, sisters Margaret and Kathleen, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Seanie's family would like to sincerely thank the Doctors, Nurses and staff at Ayrfield Family Practice, St. Luke's Hospital and O'Connell's Pharmacy, High Street, especially Sheila, for the care and kindness shown to Seanie during his illness.

May his gentle soul Rest in Peace

Reposing at his home in Lacken Drive (R952N2R) on Wednesday (28th May) from 5pm to 7pm with Prayers at 6.30pm. House private at all other times please. Requiem Mass on Thursday morning at 10.30am in St. John's Church, Kilkenny. Funeral afterwards to the Garden Chapel at Mount Jerome Crematorium for Cremation Service at 1.30pm.
