Margaret Kavanagh (née Byrne) (Sandyford and formerly of Milltown and Ballsbridge) – June 6th, 2025. Passed away peacefully in the loving care of the staff at St. Vincent’s University Hospital. Beloved wife of the late Noel Kavanagh and much-loved mother of Jacqueline, Noel, Derek, Stephen, Nigel, Fiona and Mairéad.

Sadly missed and remembered by all her loving family, sister Mary, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, nephews, nieces, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, relatives, neighbours and friends.

May she Rest in Peace

Margaret will repose at JP Ward & Sons, Funeral Home, Sandyford Village (D18 C8P7) on Wednesday evening (June 11th) from 5pm to 7pm. Removal on Thursday morning (June 12th) to St. Mary’s Church, Sandyford Village arriving for 10am Mass, followed thereafter to Mount Jerome Crematorium.

Jacqueline, Noel, Derek, Stephen, Nigel, Fiona and Mairéad would like to take this opportunity to thank the doctors, nurses, and staff of St. Michael’s Ward and the 4th Floor Dialysis Unit at St. Vincent’s University Hospital and the carers and staff of the Gascoigne Nursing for taking such good care of their beloved mother Margaret during her time with them.
