Olive Watters

Olive passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, under the exceptional care of the staff at Beaumont Hospital, Dublin. Pre-deceased by her cherished parents, Peter and Dinah, Olive leaves behind a legacy of love, creativity, and beauty. She will be deeply missed by her beloved husband and best friend, Alan, her devoted children Seán, Barry, and Dean, treasured grandchildren Anna and Ellen, daughter-in-law Jenny, Barry’s partner Karl, her loving sister Christina, brothers Derek and Richard, as well as her nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours, and wide circle of caring friends.

A woman of remarkable taste and warmth, Olive had a lifelong passion for interior design. Her ability to transform a space into something truly special was matched only by the joy she found in sharing that talent with family, friends and clients. Her influence will live on in the homes she touched and in the hearts of those in the design community who were fortunate to know her.

She will be lovingly remembered always, forever in our hearts.

Olive will be reposing in her home on Sunday between 2pm & 8pm. Removal on Monday afternoon at 1.30pm, arriving for Funeral Mass in St. Joseph’s Redemptorist Church, Dundalk at 2 o’clock to celebrate her life, thereafter to St. Fursey’s Cemetery, Haggardstown for burial.
