The death has occurred of
Patrick (Pat) Cahill
CAHILL (Gullane, Clonakilty, Co. Cork and formerly of Gortdarrig, Headford, Co. Kerry): on June 2nd 2025 peacefully in the loving care of the staff at Clonakilty Community Hospital, surrounded by his family. PATRICK (Pat) (late Department of Agriculture and former president of Clonakilty G.A.A. Club) beloved husband of the recently deceased Ella (née Magner), dearly loved father of Diarmuid, Bríd and Mairéad. Sadly missed by his loving family, son-in-law Seán O’Flynn, grandchildren Seán Óg and Aoibhínn, brothers John Joe, Willie and Fr. Daniel, sister Bríd (Stapleton), brothers-in-law Joe and Maurice, sisters-in-law Eileen, Briege, Maria and Anne, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.
Reposing in O’Sullivan’s Funeral Home, Clonakilty on Tuesday, June 3rd 2025, from 7pm to 8pm and on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 from 5pm to 7pm followed by Prayers. Requiem Mass on Thursday, June 5th 2025 at 2pm in The Sacred Heart Church, Darrara. This will be livestreamed here. Funeral afterwards in the adjoining Cemetery.
